Privacy policy
How we handle the details you share with us through the contact form or by email.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data is Norven s. r. o., Roháčova 1480/76, 130 00 Praha 3, Czech Republic, Company ID (IČ) 28502272, VAT ID (DIČ) CZ28502272. For privacy matters, contact us at info@websitesfor499.com. We are a company based in the Czech Republic; we have no US office.
What data we process
- Contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your business name and phone number, the industry, design and package you chose, and the text of your message. Please do not put sensitive information, such as health information, into the form.
- Our communication with you: the content of emails you exchange with us.
- Server logs: technical records needed for the security and operation of the website.
- Visitor statistics (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view (the page address without personal parameters and without anchors), the page you came from, your device, browser and approximate location, and Google Analytics cookies. When an inquiry through the contact form is accepted for sending, it records only that fact together with the industry, design and package you chose. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers or message text, and we do not measure the sample websites.
Why we process it
- To answer your inquiry and prepare an offer, at your request, before a contract is made.
- To run and secure the website and to protect our legal claims (our legitimate interest).
- Visitor statistics and measuring accepted inquiries only with your consent to analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
We are based in the Czech Republic, so we handle personal data under the rules that apply to us there (the EU General Data Protection Regulation), whether you live in the EU or in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any work that follows. We have not set a fixed retention period. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, as described below.
Analytics data. In our Google Analytics account, the detailed event-level and user-level data is kept for 14 months, and the period is not extended by new activity. This setting does not apply to aggregated reports, which Google Analytics keeps in summarized form without this limit, and it is separate from the lifetime of the analytics cookies in your browser (up to 2 years, set by Google; you can remove them at any time by withdrawing consent in the cookie settings). We do not claim that all analytics data is deleted after 14 months.
Who receives your data
Providers we use to run the website, such as hosting and email services, may process your data. If you consent to analytics, Google (Google Analytics 4) receives the statistics described above and may process them outside the European Union, including in the United States. See below for how long analytics data is kept. Messages from the contact form are delivered by email to the operator. We do not publish a complete list of these providers on this page. Ask us at the address above if you want to know which providers handle your data and where.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send requests to the contact above.
Because the operator is based in the Czech Republic, you may also complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
